Buying a tractor is just the beginning. The real versatility comes from the attachments — the tools that turn your tractor into a grader, a mower, a forklift, or a digger.
We asked Steve Lucich, owner of Tan Oak Tractor Sales, to share the top 5 implements he recommends for most property owners on California’s Central Coast.
1. Front Loader (Comes Standard)
Every tractor Steve sells includes a front loader — no exceptions.
“You’ll use it more than anything else. Whether it’s dirt, gravel, firewood, or feed — that front bucket gets used every day.”

2. Forks
Swap out the bucket for a set of forks and your tractor becomes a heavy lifter.
- Great for moving pallets, hay, fencing supplies, brush piles, and even small logs
- Easy to attach and remove

3. Box Blade
